Artist's Statement |
Fueled by the past, and a vision of the future, I endeavor to become a more significant element of my environment; sharing my work that is born of a multitude of memories. Some are exhilarating, some are devastating; all are mine to explore. It is impossible to separate the experience and emotions from my paintings. They are deeply and inexorably a part of my being. Enthralled by hue, texture and shape, I survive to preserve the integrity of these vehicles of communication. It is our responsibility to keep the spark of creativity lit, to share the beauty, to encourage, stimulate and enhance. |
